What all do I need to do a 3G alt conversion on my 92 fox?
And about much will it cost? And how difficult is it to do?

There's a guy on Corral that sells the wiring kit and instructions. I bought it about 1.5 years ago pretty nice complete kit. If I'm not mistaken he sells them on eBay too.

Also will I need to change the bracket and/or my belt for the 3g alt?

Although that's not the one I have it should work still. You have to trim the stock bracket and the same belt should still work.

Make sure to have a angle grinder to cut the bracket some. And get a 8 gauge wire and get the harness. There's a lot of 3G alternators at picknpull.

You can go to pick n pull and get a brand new 3 g alt and "reclock" it to work. Do your homework and it should be real easy

I have a plug and play set up... no need to cut wires or grind your alternator bracket. $140 shipped , comes with the fuse, 4 ga wire, the wiring harness and the ford motorcraft 130 amp alternator.
Shoot me a pm and I will post up some pics or pm them to you.
