So I recently bought a 2006 F150 quad cab 5.4 in it. Clutch fan is horrendous. I hate the noise, the look, and everything else about it. With my mustang, we switched it out a couple days after bringing it home with an electric fan. So is it worth doing the same on my truck? Opinions?
Truck is being used for camping/hunting/commuting. So everyday every use kind of thing.

A quick search came up with this: Troyer Performance Electric Fans. Seems to be the alternative for the clutch fan. No personal experience myself, but from what your looking to use the truck for, these seem to be adaquate enough. Spal was also mentioned alot in the F-150 forums.
