H/c/i tfs heads. 42lb inj with 76mm mass air calibratedfor 42s. Stock distributor

That explains the Autolite 3294's. Not sure of the gap .035. That's different than mine which were recommended to be gapped at .042 with AFR heads.
Also, are the injectors/maf too big for your setup? I haven't heard of 42lb injectors with just H/C/I. Are you supercharged as well?
I'm not sure what having injectors that big will do to it. I'm just learning all this stuff....

Posted by Marks93 (Member # 11130) on

I don't know much about AOD's. I've always had a T5. Someone else can probably answer that one.

I think the 02 harness is different from aod to t-5

WOW way to big on your injectors. With a 24 LB injector at 40 PSI @ 80% You can support 300 HP. I highly doubt you are making that kind of POWER. My ROUSCH 347 puts down 320 @ The wheels and i am running #24 LB Injectors. 42Lb injectors are way to big. Unless you have some kind of monster motor 42 LB injectors can support 450+ HP
h!!!

Car was tuned at aed it put down 465hp 463torque with 10lb boost..

That explains it. I did not know the build. I figured it had to be modified to the HILT to run those injectors. So what does AED say about the performance issue?? Did you have them look at the issue. Just curious? That is what i posted. 42 pound injectors is what i would use as well. Like i posted 450+ thanks for clearing that up. OK so sounds like spark blow out or something with ignition. Hard to figure unless i had the car in person. Driving a car to diagnose it and rolling it on my dyne would help with an issue like this. Only problem we are 3000 miles away. Your plugs are gaped correctly for that boost so i would rule that out. And your wires are new . But did you check them?? Also you should pull the plugs to check them. One may have an issue. Good luck
Here is a plug that i found on my own car. I had a miss fire @ high RPM.It turned out to be a bad plug. It happens some time. You have to dig in on an issue like you are having
