I ordered new rims. The sizes are 17x10 and 17x9. What would be a good tire size to run?

235/40 up front and 285/40 or 35 out back would look good depending on what brand tires you get

I have 245 40 17 up front and 275 40 17 back..I have rear drums so they stick more in than disc brake so a 285 tire would rub against the back wall.

my 17inch cobras were 17x10 all around... And its lowered...
The front rubbed alot because of the rim
225 were too skinny and 255 gave a nice low and wide stance so anywhere inbetween should be good... Oyea by 225/40 & 255/40
in the rear i run 275/40 and they rub bit my cars lowered so i shaved the 1/4 lip and banged the inner wall and its good... I want to run maybe 275/50 on my next pair

I gave up for the fronts and currently running prostars
