Yes. You will be choking that motor with GT40s.

Just get heads designed for the motor. GT40s flow only marginally with a 302 (not even good enough for a decent cammed 302)

Look for some used Vic jr's or AFRs,shit even some good RHS or WP iron heads would do! Save u some cash from brand new yet wont choke that engine,they would flow so good ona 393..gt40 anything is junk ona 351w with some cubes!
