key wont turn ignition forward, it turns it backwards ???

Flip the key over, sounds like 1 side isn't cut correctly.

Locked steering column? Turn the steering wheel while turning key?

Flipped key AND turned wheel.... idk key may be worn out.

Try putting key all way in and then backing it out just a small bit. Might be time for a new ignition cylinder.

Make sure no one tried to steal your whip bro!

Is the steering wheel locked or does it move like it should? If its still locked, you need to man-handle the hell out of the steeringwheel(turning it right to left or vice versa) while turning the ignition key at the same time.
