If it fires right up and idled good it isn't bent valves.

Warm tfi module I'm betting. The get warmed up and basically over heat then you turn the car off and doesn't want to start then it sits an cools and works great again. Wierd thing is it won't die while running it just won't start once you turn it off. Had this problem before

Ive had a "no start" several times after you put in a new combo, or cam or something else that alters airflow significantly. I think the stock computer goes through a "learning" process. All of my "no starts" would fire right up after I let it sit for bout 30 mnutes then after once or twice of doing that it would never do it again. I believe its "learning" [ 2013-05-01, 01:08 PM: Message edited by: speeddhb ]

I start with module or coil. Seem like some thing is getting hot and not working. Then once it has cooled down it works again. I could of just told you that on the phone. If you every called.

it could be a bad ignition coil, you can check it w a dvom or just replace it right quick with a known good one. or you can do a spark test , see if you have a strong or weak spark .

Update I change the dizzy to a known good one same thing fired up then turned it off to see if it would start again nothing. I took number 5 cyclinder wire off to see for spark nothing my guess is going to be the ignition coil it worked fine before the swap though
