I have a 1992 mustang GT hatchback. I bought my car a while back and the previous owner had a manual door on the car. My car has power windows and locks. So, i bought a new door for it, but i can not for the life of me to get the door to seal. Ive tried moving left, right, up, down and i still cant get the door to seal. Can someone shed some insight on my very annoying situation. The door is so bad that wen i close the door i can still see light coming from the seals. When it should be sealed tight. I'm thinking the door is bad and that the brackets on the door are bent because they do not sit flush with the car.
PLEASE HELP,
Charles

sounds like the door pins might be allowing the door to sag. Did you replace the door pins and rollers?
My drivers door sags a bit and i can see it on the bottom corner of the door. I also can see light through it too.

does the door look pinched near the door belt because it could be from someone that previously pried the door open substantially to either break in or steal the car mine doesn't seal because of this

@NK2186
Can you replace door pins and rollers?
If so, do i just knock the old ones out?
@96stang4.6
I installed the door myself so it couldn't of been pried on. You just have to see pics of it to actually know what i mean. It's really hard to explain through text. The bracket on the door does not sit flush with the frame of the car. That is the most simplistic way I can explain it. And the door that was on there previously was flush and it also sealed.
It just really sucks because it is preventing me from painting my car.
