Currently have an 8.8 in my fox. Once my suspension is built, I'm looking to upgrade entire rear end.

Keeping it simple and sticking with the 8.8

9" ends
Welded tubes
4.10's
New posi LSD unit
Moser 31 spline axles

My question is, The rear end is from a cobra and has rear disc brakes. Will all of this work with the disc brakes? And should this be able to handle a fair amount of power? As who has the jig to weld this up?

Had my gears installed at Rear End Specialties in Santa Clara. Did a great job. Descent price too. I would assume they would do all the other upgrades you mentioned.

They won't weld the tubes and they might not even do the 9" ends. When I had my 8.8 built a few months ago it seemed like all they wanted to do at an entirely rear end shop is replace internals and install studs. Pretty stupid if you ask me but their work is pretty damn good aside from what they refuse to do.

Were going to charge me $575 including brand new gears. When I got there, they asked if I wouldn't mind used gears for $100 off, they had some used 3.55's. I took the deal! Running great for about 2.5 years now

For what I can tell years. He had a pink nova on pinks all out running 10's I believe on street tires his dad was the owner of the crushed red nova that went 12 on the roof lol he has a 55 Chevy truck that he redid the frame on with air ride and redid the rear to fit and tuck a ford 9" that he shortened himself etc
