So I will be going from 2bbl to 4bbl on my 82 coupe.. I am going to be using a Holley Street Avenger 670 cfm.. Part #: 0-83670 or 0-80670....

I was wondering which PERFORMANCE carb manifolds are CA Street Legal? I'm guesing I need one with EGR for sure, but does anyone know any specific performance manifolds that will be good with the holley street avenger 670 cfm..

Like they said, Edelbrock Performer 302. I have one but I haven't gotten around to installing it. Anyone know what (aluminum) heads and cam would best compliment this on a stock short block? I am using an Edelbrock 600 carb right now, but I would be open to suggestion on that as well.

carb is not going to pass a smog inspection so why worry if the intake will be carb legal

It will pass smog if tuned properly.. I'm not doing a race build, I'm just doing a lil street car with some ballz.. and I will be keeping all smog equipment still.. street avengers are ca carb legal.. I wud rather have everyting legit than deal with a state ref again..

Tfs heads & stage 1 cam with 600cfm carb should run nice.. I would lose the edelbrock carb & go with a holley or demon though..

Aren't they 49 state legal? Not CA though? It will pass the sniffer though as long as he do see it during inspection.

Demon carbs are either great or shit. I had one on my 83 for 8 years. It ran great never had a problem. My old nova's demon on the other hand was all ways giving us fits at the track. It would for no reason pick up or drop 5-7 thou a run. Never was the same from run to run. Great on the street but sucked bad for a bracket car..

Heads & cam.. I would go 165 afr's with a b cam.. The performer intake isn't going to do much with bigger heads and a cam. It's only worth about 15-20 hp over a stock 4v intake..
