Wanted to see if anyone knows if there is a better option for flexible hoses, I have the steel chrome flex hoses and don't trust them. Can't use direct fit pre molded because I installed a custom radiator where the outlet hose is on the opposite side.

Found this Gates green stripe hose. The wire is inside the insulation. Might try it

You running a newer 302 in your 65? If so, mustangsplus has the fix to that, or you can get a 351 radiator.

^^^
Yea got a 5.0 block but the radiator is a larger aluminum one from summit with the outlet on the driver side. It doesnt help that it's angled upwards either

Post a pic of how you need it routed. I have at my shop a silicone hose for water pump / radiators for big diesel products its 3/4 hose I believe

So your waterpump outlet is on the pass. Side?

A flex hose won't bent that much, it will just kink, even with the spring inside.

Here's that part i was talking about http://www.mustangsplus.com/xcart/1965-73-Serpentine-Belt-Conversion-Lower-Radiator-Hose.html

Yeah the water pump outlet is on the passenger side. Ill try and post pics later. NorCal thanks for the link but its for an original radiator when converting to serpentine. I have a v belt with a larger radiator

Yeah I know, I just decided to put the link.

Try a newer or a 351 waterpump with the outlet on the driverside, or make something like the link I posted.
