So am in the market to buying a 03/04 cobra motor so I came across one in craislist but the motor has been pulled out already ad says around 65k miles how could I find out if the motor is good n running healthy?any other questions I should ask any help would be greatly appriciated thanks

To my knowledge there wont be any way to verify the milage without knowing what car that it came from. Other things to look out for would be debris in the intake tract, color of the oil etc.. simple things like that could mean the difference between a healthy motor and one that hasnt been taken care of.

You could do a leak down test on the motor, easy way to tell if it's sealing well

I bought mine on EBay complete with tranny, for $8000 earlier in the year, it's called gambling. I'm doing the install myself so I'm taking my time. I'm hoping the motor is what the seller said it was...low miles (40k-ish). It took more time cleaninging and painting the parts to make it look near new again.
