well got up to go for work, try to start car an it says it has enough juice to start then i turn over just got a click then my lights on dash started to freak out so i clean cables an brand new batt but nothing, but then i lost all power and my positive cable gets real hot so Im at a lost an help would be great thanks

Follow the positive cable see if its shorting (grounding) out some where, and is it only doing when your trying to turn the engine over (starting the car)? If so check the starter conrctions and the starter itself test it

Fix it, It was a bad connection an wire needed to be clean up but fired rigth up with no problems thanks for info too

i have a 97 and i had the same problem. i clean the postive cable and tight it more and it starts up fine now
