so im considering building 03-04 cobra style wings for 99-04 mustangs.havnt got it built yet but these will be pretty cool,in fact i think they will be better looking. since the real ones are kind bulky these will have the old school 67 mustang lip kinda look.

just wondering if theres ppl thats interested in buying these if i was to make a few.i think the saleens are too long and no one wants to spend 600 on a cobra one. these would be much cheaper.

yeah i was thinking about that, since the real third brake light is CRAZY expensive.

i know my personal wing is not going to have one,i hate them anyway and like how without it it will look like the old school 60's stang wing.

but i am sure i can cut the section out and mold a light into it. i was thinking a LED strip or something similar. i have no doubt they will be pretty cool.

im going today to find the materials to start a mold.

and i deff,understand interest in something for a fox but i dont have a fox trunk so im unable to design a wing for that

im coming up with 2 designs.one is a lip,that has a 'ramp' from the deck lid to the top of the lip,so its smooth,it will go on TOP of the decklid light.leaving the back of the trunk stock. so your light would still work.

second one is more of the cobra idea that covers the light and keyhole

ill see how this turns out first.ive got the basic shape done.looks pretty cool in bare metal.ill hopefully finish it tomorow then see about making a fiberglass one.after the first one is made ill see what you guys think

Where are you located? If you can seriously design a bad ass wing for a fox coupe somewhat like an 03-04 cobra wing I'd be interested. Same thing with a fox specific chin spoiler. No one makes these that are out of the box bolt ons that I have seen anywhere. I'm sure I can pick up a trunk lid if you're not too far.

I have an '02 gt and it is wingless. I am looking for something a bit larger that the 03-04. Like a bigger duck tail. I open track my car so a little downforce (very little) would be nice. Meier (sp) racing makes what I am looking at out of carbon fiber and its expensive. Can you make something like that?
