Ok so I've read all I can about surging idle/stalling out time to leave it to the experts on cafords. 91 gt has a comp cam with cobra intake 1.6 comp stud rockers, BBK cai 73mm MAF 65mm tb, stock injectors. New iac, cleaned the MAF sensor, used a smoke machine pumped the engine full of smoke no leaks, timing is at 10 or 11, adjusted the tps on the throttle body to spec. Changed the egr sensor.

It seems to me that many my flex-a-light fan may be making the car die out with the clutch in. I have a 95 amp alt and yellow top optima. I checked voltage on battery running and off and then with the fan on and off voltage was good. For some reason I feel like it's the fan drawing too much amperage. Or the alternator can't keep the engine running I believe the alt is a couple years old. Maby the underdrive pullies are overspining the alt. Any ideas

Check engine light is not on sometimes I wish it would come on so it would give me somewhere to start. Thanks for reading my post any help is appreciated.!

Bro your in San Ramon. Take your car to advanced auto over on San Ramon valley blvd. it's accross from KFC behind GERMAN AUTO CARE. There's a driveway go all the way to the back you will see a white shipping container and turn left pull up and ask for Daniel. He's a member on here so he will definitely hook it up and he is the best at electrical and a bad ass mechanic all around

Sounds like its time for a 3G Alternator upgrade, I'd start with that first.

+1 Might do it this week. When I do my one wire 130 amp will be for sale.

Go to autozone , they can and will gladly test your system. for free . that would help you eliminate the battery and alternator. as far as the fan drawing too many amps , I doubt that , would not the fuse on that circuit blow first ?
