Thats gunna be expensive i have seen some 03/04 cobra shortblocks here for dirt cheap and the add stated they run. Thats a forged shortblock for cheaper than a regular rebuild for ur car would be, its the 96 cobra on ur sig right?

yes the heads will bolt right on. you will run your 96 ballencer timing cover and oil cooler though. although the block in your car is far better than a termi block. the termi block is cast iron and weighs alot more too,

I always thought the iron block was better because it was stonger?

iron has less deflection, but those blocks are like gold to find for a 4v build. they are super lightweight and have been reported to support 1k hp. the main cap and cross bolt design is far superior to the iron blocks.. and especially the winsor blocks. ford stoped having them produced in italy to keep more production in house. but if your teksid block is good. run it.

ya I've heard the same n ya I thinks my teskid block still mite be good cause once I herd the knock I stopped driving it but I still need to open up the whole motor n find out what's wrong but I kinda rather have someone with experience to tear apart and put my engine back together
