I have a 89 hatch w/an 8.8 5lug disc rear end
11.5 rotors slotted vented don't know exactly
what vehicle rear end originally came from.
It appears to be a wider axle model.
The car came with original 03's 17x9
I want to buy the 17x10.5
and run nitto nt05r 315/35/17 tires
question: Will I have any problems with
back spacing with the 17x10.5 rims that look
stock with or perferably without a spacer or do
I need to buy those ugly deep dish style with
the spacing on the outside rather keep my tire
under the car not sticking out any more than absolutely
necessary you feel!
Any members running similar setups please advise
do's and don'ts I know best thing would be to put 17x9's
back on and measure from tire to fenderwell. I will do this later but wanted to know how you guys are doing the 10.5 rear on a fox with disc rear. All feedback apreciated.
Thanks

10.5 wide wheels will rub on the fender with a stock disc rear end. you need a fox length rear end or try to find those same wheels but with a higher offset (around +40mm)

Most guys use northracecars cobra bracket and fox lenght 5 lug axels to have a 10.5 wide with 315s and cobra disc brakes
