Curious if any parts off of either would be better over a stock foxbody i.e a arms rear end etc. I know some run the fans off the mark and i hear that the 7.5 off of a turbo coupe can hold an easy 400hp. Wondering what would be better over stock since some of these might be more readily available in a junk yard over a not yet stripped fox.

Just trying to inform myself for when im ready to need parts for a v8 swap in my fox.

Actually the turbo coupe rear ends are 8.8 . And come with gears depending on aod=3:73 or 5 spd=3:55

the advantage of the t/c rear end is that it is a 8.8 disc brake 4 lug.. If you are looking to upgrade to disc/5 lug, get the rear off of a Mark VII LSC (Big disc brakes, and 3.27 True Trac). Mark VIIIs are good for the entire rear IRS (need aftermarket axles), the fans are very useful (3200CFM), and above all Mark VIII complete engines and harnesses and best bang for your modular buck.

the 87 to 88 tubro coupes, have either a 355 or 373 8.8 rear end 4 lug rear end, there just the same length same as a93 cobra, a tad wider. ive never ran a problem with the width. but never went past a 17 by 9 wheel.

mark 8 had a front 5 lug rotor hub that was used on foxs, but have a big inner bearing cap that screws with the center caps on wheels.
