i have a 90 hatch with rebuilt 302 (now 306) with the rebuilt AOD, what is a good tranny to get i kinda wanna stay with auto only cuz it will cost too much to get a good stick tranny plus what i have to do and all the other parts. so what i want to know is what is a good auto tranny for street/strip use. daily driver but would like to hit the track once or twice a month?

It would probably cost about the same to change it to 5-speed as it would to get a built AOD.

yea autos would cost more. there not simple like a t5 is.

around 1k to rebuild that with good clutches and shift kit tran brake thru performance tranmission i know the owner
