Just installed longtubes on my 96 cobra after two days its leaking from passenger side cylinder head. Is there any way to get a wrench in there and tighten the first two bolts any tips or tricks?

have they backed themselves out already? have u tried to see if you can snug them down a litte, how did you get a wrench on them in the first place, or were they not installed by you? ive never installed lt's on a cobra, but i know that any 50 ive ever put em on i always give it a week +/- and go back through and retighten them 1 or two usually end up backin out a little

You have to drop k member to install so you only have one shot at it but ob the passenger. Side im looking for any tips on how i could tighten first two bolts closest to front of car i thought those were the only ones you could get a wrench on

Unbolt the motor mounts and lift up the motor, make sure to unbolt your intake and you should be able to get to a majority of the passenger side bolts

The right way, would be dropping the I member. You may be able to pull the engine mount off lift the engine up. I have some long ratcheting wrenched that have a swivel head that possibly would work. But by the time you get frustrated trying to tighten all of them, you could have already had the k member out.

On those cobras always worth the money for those locking header bolts

Used the cheap paper gaskets that came with the headers?? I think everyone here has done it at some point.
Get some blue locktite, arp 5/16th head- header bolts and remflex gaskets.

always use the metal header gaskets and put copper spray on both sides. i've never had an exhaust leak at the head doing it this wya.
