I've got a recently bought 92gt hatch 5spd 302 powerdyne BD11 with long tube slip fit 3bolt 3"collectors not trying to have any exhaust leaks the slip fits are old and loose. IDK if ultra copper going to do the trick I had some mac long tubes on my 84 5pd fi conversion when I bought it and they wouldn't work with clutch cable for shit. I changed to fms shortys expensive swap labor and muffler shop. I'm on a go fast budget.Summit has some Lt 3bolt one pieces for $179 delivered 1 5/8 any suggestions

Also lost low end with shorty swap not trying to down grade but not trying to spend $250-$750 either. I do understand cheaper not always best way to go. Like to find happy medium. Thanks for any suggestions

If anything, you should have gained better low end hp&trq with the Shorty headers. Longtubes are better for maximizing top end hp&trq.

I personally think that some Equal Length shorty headers will be a great medium for your setup. I'd go with ceramic coated, but as you said you are on a budget.

Maybe something like these

well thats because you wont find a good new header set for under $500 let alone $200 or whatever you said

i use BBK ceramic coated 1 3/4's but 1 5/8 are better if your not peeking on 400 hp
