Thinking of doing an IRS swap on my fox and was wondering if it's a straight bolt on? Would there be anything else I would need?

Looking at an IRS for $1000 with 15k miles on it..

Good deal? Please advice...

From what I remember when we did my brother coupe we had to make extra holes N everything else bolted on. I don't know its been years since we did it.

brake line adapters, e-brake cable differences, drill the vertical holes in the trunk floor for the cradle.
drill out the front lower control arm mounting holes in the chassis to fit the larger 14mm bolts (IRS doesn't come with them, but MM sells them, gets ride of the 'cobra clunk')

otherwise the cradle bolts in, springs line up, etc.

I did it in my sn95, in a fox you will be very limited in tire size, if you use stock 94-04 sn95 wheels you'll be stuck with 245, maybe 255's at the most.

First for? N I read on another forum that they sell fox length axles for IRS rear ends. That's what I read I never actually looked it up.

to change the track width you'd need a lot more than axles...upper/lower arms, tie-rods, swaybar/or endlinks...maybe more shit, it's not simple to change the track of an IRS as complicated as the cobra one at all.

The actual suspension is in the way, the axles have shit to do with your tire rubbing on the suspension. ajurat80 something has the black fox but somehow he got 10 inch rims all around, I only have a 9 inch rim with 245s tire wise.
