:
Co2 is combustion efficiency
02 is oxygen
Hc is hydrocarbons aka raw unburnt fuel
Co is carbon monoxide aka nox
You want high co2 and low very thing else. If I knew the standards fr your car I could help you out furthe. Also did you pass or fail? Need all the info you got. Car, mods, pass or fail...
If you have high hc then you got a lot of raw gas in your exhaust if you have high o2 you got a lot of oxygen in your exhaust which means either a lean afr or exhaust leak pulling in outside air
You want low nox can't remember about it right now tho

Well it looks like your car is doing great. Almost an antique/classic and it's posting some really good smog numbers. Like I said if you have high co2 everything else is pretty much taken care of. Keep up the maintenance and it should be good

co is not aka nox
co is a rich indicator and
nox is when the combustion chamber is over 2500 degrees and nox is formed from heat
nitrogen with oxygen and x for unknown value because we dont know how many oxygen molecules formed into the nitrogen. nox is a man made gas.
I have my smog license. I have to know about all 5 gases like the back of my hand.

so what should co be at.
Posted by SacStangDriver (Member # 8304) on
:
every car is different for the acceptable #'s. most cars should be under .5 co.
HC = unburnt fuel
CO = rich indicator
NOX = to much heat (egr takes car of this, or vvt)
O2 = lean indicator or misfire
co2 = combustion efficiency
