My driver seat in my 94 is stuck in the up/highest position and it seems that it won't go back down (using the switch doesn't do anything). Is there a way to manually lower it?

I think if it gets stuck 'up' for more than 4 hours you're supposed to call your doctor.

Mine works like a champ [Big Grin]

Is it getting power?

It goes up, forward, and back...just not down. The motor doesn't make any noise when I put the switch to the down position. Is this still a motor issue? Maybe switch?

If it were the fuse the entire seat wouldn't move.

Possible switch issue, the switches are prone to failure due to dirty contacts.
unscrew the switch and unplug the connectors to remove.
Once out you can open the switch to gain access to the contacts. clean contacts and reinstall.

How did the fix go? I have the same issue with a 95 drivers seat.

I ended up removing the seat and unplugging all the harnesses. I then ran a positive and negative wire straight from the battery to the seat motor harness and it lowered the seat. Problem solved [patriot]
