So when I push in my clutch on my 98 cobra, I get this kind of rubbing sound and it sounds like it's coming from my cable. Could this mean the cable is going out?

How does te pedal feel? Look under the hood at the firewall and look at where the cable goes through and see if you notice anything...I have a brand new cable if you need one...

The pedal feels rough going down. Thanks but I have a new one i am going to put on soon. I was just wondering if it was going out or if it's normal. (I've only had the car for about two months)

Yeah my cable snapped on my '86 N before it snapped it got real hard to push like it was crazy kuz it would like nearly lift me out of my seat just to press it. But I don't remember ever hearing any sounds except for a little creaking sound here N there.
