im having a problem with hole depth to be as deep as the original equipment bolts was. as in nothing original fits. the exaust cross over air tube that fits across the back of the heads, stock bolt bottoms out way to fast. the front acces bolt holes up front are to shallow as well. and now im mounting the ac an ps plate up front and the main big stud that goes threw the ps spacer/an mount for the ac is off as it comes to the main big mounting plate. off by a 1/2 inch. i think its just poor machining in the factory. anybody else have these problems with these heads?

i have worked on a few cars with these heads and as far as i can remember. there wasn't any problems with the depth of the bolt holes like you are having..

yeah i checked to a stock head, they stopped a 1/2 inch short going into the world heads, verse the stock ones. and compared to the stock head the big hole the big stud comes out of is off by a 1/2 inch. lol why do i always get the lemon parts lol

I had the same problem with Windsor Jr's back in the Nineties. Not only are the trio of accessory holes depth too shallow, but the hole layout is off so far you will have to slot all of your brackets. None of the holes are drilled and tapped deep enough to use OEM bolts. But there is a bigger problem!!! Mine did not have enough machined out of the bottom side to allow the roller lifters to be removed, so put your lifters in before you put the heads on. If you change the cam, you will have to devise a way to hold the lifters up while you pull the cam out.
