Im starting to look at clutches and am not sure about this particular one. Its a Zoom Stage 3. I've never had a Zoom clutch and have never driven a car with this brand clutch. I would like some opinions if you have any knowledge on these. Thanks. Here is a link to the one I'm looking at.

be careful on buying a clutch that engages very harsh like that one..ive driven a zoom stage 3 clutch and man it is tough..no slip at all and the fact that a stock t5 might not last with one is a fact..but zoom is a great brand

Yea I feel ya on that one JaeJae. I just need to find a clutch that is within a good price-range and will hold up to a HCI+nitrous (150-175 shot) setup. Dont wanna buy a clutch that has terrible street drivabilty. I know Spec clutches are solid.. but the best ones are the "plus" models. Been also lookin at spec stage 2 plus.
Anybody know of a good, well priced clutch that will hold up to what I'm going to throw at it?

check out a ram power grip..slight chatter may occur when they are new but after some miles they wear in..it also held up to my friends 331-s trim 500hp car..centerforce is also another..

Nick, why not go with a Spec Stage 2+? I hear nothing but good things. I'll be using a Ram Powergrip behind mine. If its not up to the job I'm going with a Spec Stage 2+
I've benn running a Powergrip behind my H/C/I for a while now with no complaints. Then again I have no spray.

I've been considering a spec stage 2+ but keeping my options open. I've driven a bunch of cars with spec stage 3 clutches and I hate how it engages.. no slip at all, its either on or off. Lookin for something with good drivability..

I had the zoom behind my 410 motor, man that clutch was a pita to drive, it was chattering like crazy and pedal feel so stiff, the happy ending was an exploded T5 within the first 500 miles of the new 410, I guess the T5 with the grippy clutch didn't go very well with the 410, it even had a regular street tires and I wasn't power shifting either. Changed to TKO600 with CF dual friction and couldn't be happier, stock pedal feel, no chattering, and holds my 410 motor with 150 shot and drag radial just fine.
