Friend with an 08 mustang V6 needs a new clutch and I was wondering if there's a better one than the stocker? I did some research and it seems SPEC makes them but with mixed reviews. No racing or anything, just something better. Or should they stay with stock?

If the car is stocking dont really see a reason to buy an upgraded clutch. Unless you plan on heavily modding it it should be fine.

Autozone or kragen i forgot have a clutch that has lifetime warrenty.
beat those up then when it gives out u have warrenty.besides those should hold up well, and u really dnt wanna pay triple price for a harder pedal and no hp gain.

If u get a performance clutch u youll toast your tranny faster, idk about you but id rather replace a clutch than a tranny.

Yeah its just for normal everyday driving, no upgrades planned or anything, maybe a cold air intake or something but thats it. Might just go OEM, rather than an cheapy Autzone one right?

+1 I know someone that does this and when he needs a new clutch go back and get one for free.
