So I thought it might be the battery or the alternator. So I when ahead and got both the battery and alternator and still no charger [Confused] [BS flag] what might be the problem guys.. need your help thanks

Check your connections at the alternator and battery. It could just be a lose battery cable.

Edit- are you checking this with a volt meter or your stock gauge?

I did the pull the positive cable trick [patriot] and engine die. I know is not a good idea but I had no other way to test it

AutoZone can test the system. sounds like maybe a bad ground somewhere . The cables corrode from the inside out.

It's located inside the gage cluster

Hook up a vat40 or an in series ammeter, or even a test light in series. See if there is an amperage draw with key and all accessories off. If so, start pulling fuses one by one until the amperage goes away. When u pull the right fuse, look up that circuit and look for a possible short. Your charging system may be okay, but u have a significant parasitic draw. Even a half amp draw over a couple days of sitting will drain a good battery. Good luck

Do you have under drive pulleys on your motor?

like others have said..u may have something on thats draining battery..test light all your fuses and youll find it.
