I don't think so. I think idle control and egr are bad. Anyone having problem before.

When I start the engine then it died. I think fuel pressure regulator bad. It hard to tell.

I had a similar problem and it ended being that the egr valve was messed up in the diaphragm... [patriot]

Does your car have a Check Engine Light illuminated? If so check for codes. If you have an efi 5.0 check your key on engine off codes and that can tell you if any of your sensors are bad most of the time.

I had this problem before and it was a result of a bad throttle position sensor, but my car was throwing no codes, so I got lucky and found out it was the TPS after I replaced it(amongst many other things)

Clean your mass air flow sensor and Idle air control valve . If the problem persists and you you have an aftermarket throttle body , try adjusting it.
