Ill be putting in another rack and pinion soon, and would like to know the torque for the fittings on the pinion so that i dont destroy the o-rings...also, i wont have a small torque wrench so maybe a x amount of turns after hand tight will be easier, etc...thanks.

Tight but not loose. Can't explain it. I don't think anyone has ever torqued them.

ya i wasnt sure if they were torqued or not either...i heard stories of overtightening, so i figured there must be a torque amount...hmmm

Just use your judgement, they do
Strip and get cross threaded pretty easy. I would say snug plus a quarter turn

thanks! also is it typical to re-use the 5 total hoses/hard lines off the previous PS setup? i still plan on using them since they still look ok...

and im not sure which of the fittings need o-rings? all of them?

thanks again.
