I believe they are 8mm x1.25

I'm pretty sure its a metric bolt

blown95svt is correct the stock hood bolts are metric or at least on my 89 they were.
The bolt dimensions I gave you were for my ABC Exclusive hood and not the stock hood.

I still have my stock hood bolts and just went out and measured them.

The STOCK hood bolts are M8 X 1.25 X 25.4MM Grade 9.8

The 2 bolts that go to the latch mechanism
are 7M X 1.25 X 22.225
