anybody know if a rear end out of an 87-93 mustang will fit into a maverick

You'll have to convert to a 4 link setup

I have seen 8.8 Mustang rearends installed in numorous vehicles. Don't worry about the 4 link setup. Measure the width from axle flange to axle flange. If dimension is acceptable cut the spring purches from original rearend and weld onto the 8.8 in same location (perch width) and bolt in.

an explorer or ranger rear end is much easier to swap in.

was gonna post this.. my buddy has a 71 comet with the explorer rear jus welded the spring perches. 31 spline 3.55 and disc. cantr beat it from pick and pull [patriot]
