Hey how's it going, i had a question for my fellow cafords members, i was wondering if anyone has had first hand experience with anyone of these transmissions? what was your thought about it.Ive heard that they are not the best on the street, but have also heard from some that they are ok there is just a technique to driving, basically want to hear anything and everything that there is to know about one of these trannys, read a couple of other topics on other forums, so now its time for the cafords knowledge. Any feedback would be highly appreciated...thanks...

Mine was notchy when new but got smoother after break-in, I also replaced the tremec shifter with MGW which made a world of difference, now I can powershift it at 6k rpm without a problem.
However, mine is not the faceplated version, just the standard trans with road racing 5th gear.
Hope that helps.

talk to moderndriveline i got my tko from them and had it upgraded so it shifts smoother above 5k something tremec recommends you do, i dont know why they just dont sell it to shift smooth since they know the problem
