comp cams 270's there stage 2's so you'll have to do the springs as well and degree em too, springs should be easy since the heads our off the car still? also for new head gasket get the 3v 05+ b/c they have better flowing cooling ports on the back cylinders

read this it'll explain it more

I read the form and understand the extra cooling for the back of the heads but they have the front coolent passages blocked off..why? Should I drill little holes in the front or just leave the head gasket as is?

I was going to port the polish the head before installing them so no I haven't had the 96gt heads off yet. The PI heads are sitting in the garage with the lower intake

I would go with stage 2 cams. just make sure the lift is not high or you will have to get your pistons notched. Most stage 2 cams are fine though. Also if your looking for good heads or good port Nick from MHS is very reputable A lot of people on corral do buisness with him. His prices are fairly good, but it may be bit of a wait. http://modularheadshop.com/heads/piheads.htm

MMR is also reputable as well.
