if your going to rebuild the trac-lok should grab the 03/04 cobra trac-lok kit stronger friction disc will posi both tires alot longer than the standard kit.

If anybody needs the rebuild kits for their trac lok, I got the frictions/steels (non carbon fiber) for $60. I got like 3 extra kits (just the friction discs and steel discs, no additive)

As far as the material goes, carbon fiber will by far outlast the stock brass ones. But if its quality work being done, it will lock up great regardless of which ones you use. The only reason ive had any issues with mine is because the shop did a half-ass job installing my gears and rebuilding the trac-lok. But even with a bad rebuild those CF clutches have held up great and lock almost every time to the right.
