So today I went to put my car in reverse and its slippn hella bad... I cant even feel it go in gear.. All the other gears work fine.. Just reverse is slipping... It has a Baumann shift kit, so wat could it be?? Valve body?? Servo?? I need some insight on this... A little to soon for a 5speed for me.. But if push comes to shove ill do.the swap

Replace fluid, use two quarts of this with non synthetic ATF, cross fingers and hope for the best, then replace taillights, if not your SOL.

Does the fluid smell burnt?Do you have manual low?

No it doesnt smell burnt... I have every gear, reverse just slips hella bad... The valvebody is coming out soon as we get back to sac

Sounds like the rear band is working since you have manual first,which means for whatever reason the reverse clutch is not being applied. Sounds like your on the right track. Drop the pan and if everything looks clean drop the valvedody and hopefully you find a stuck valve.

I didnt get home from santa cruz til 8:30... Ill drop the pan 2morrow... Tired of workin on this damn car lol

Well the car has been sitting since sunday night.. Well I went ti to move it so I can work on it, and now the reverse works lol...
