battery seems like its not getting charged but at the same time it wont make the clicking sound as it would if the battery was dead.
battery gauge indash reads super low (idles fine),but when driving around when i change gears it seems like it wants to die. when it almost dies i like pop the clutch to keep it running.
so i'm wondering if its possibly my BAttery or the alternator
symptoms:
starts here and there
low battery gauge reading
loses power when driving
lmk thanks

possible dead cell..if your alt was bad it would die instantly when taken off the terminal..i suggest you check your cables and get the battery tested..goodluck

don't go off the gauge in the dash, get a volt meter and measure. A full battery is 12.66 volts, and you should be swing Hugh 13 to low 14s at idle with the car on at the battery.

Sounds like the battery not holdin charge well. Just go to kragen and thell hook it up to there handheld for free takes like 5min.

Could be a bad cell in the battery, a load test would confirm this.
Also, if stock 65 amp pissa crap alternator installed it may be putting out enough power to barely run the car. A volt meter could confirm this.
Consider upgrading to a 130 amp 3G alternator especially if underdrive pullies installed.
Do you have stock alternator and UD pullies ?

if u have a buddy at a shop, hook it up to a vat40. i find them much more accurate then the midtronics testers that kragen uses.

if it is not a sealed battery, check the water in it. Seen a few people with low water buy new batteries.... only use distilled if it is low and have someone who knows how to fill it do it. if it is sealed, ignore this post...
