Hey guys, so I suspect I have a weak or failing fuel pump. My car shutters and has vary little power. It did this once before, and at the time I thought it was the transmission. I took the car to aamco and it turned out the trans was not the problem, so I did a tune up and it still shuttered. Finally, I changed the fuel filter and on the test drive I punched it and she took off like a scalded cat. " that was 5000 miles ago" Now it's doing it again. This evening I changed the fuel filter again it seemed to help a lil but not much. Tomorrow I'm going to do a tune up and dump some fuel injector cleaner in the tank as well as check the fuel presser at the rail. The car has 120,000 on the clock with the factory fuel pump. Any insight to aid in diagnoses would be helpful!
