I have a IRS off of a 04 cobra and I also have a solide 8.8 from a 90 gt. My question is can I take the gears From the IRS into the solid with the clutches into the solid with no problems? Or do j have to add shims

Gear ring and pinion can be swapped

04 Cobra carrier is 31 spline, stcck GT is 28 spline
Would need new axles for the solid rearend to install
Gears only (ring and pinion) will transfer, still need to have gears dialed in however.
