Anyone put a hydraulic clutch in their old school stang?

Did you use a kit ir build yourself? Looking for helpful tips
Experiences. Probably going to you a wildwood master cylinder and a CNC slave bolted to the t-5 using a custom bracket on the two handy bosses. Still haven't worked out the clutch pedal linkage or location.

http://www.dazecars.com [patriot]

Mount the master in the hole where the stock clutch linkage would pass through the firewall.

That offset pushrod for the master cylinder is money.
It's funny how the site you listed and this site:
http://www.rosehillperformanceparts.com/Products_Page.htm
have the exact same products.

My reservations about the modern driveline kit is the cost, and master cylinder pushrod. It's not a huge difference, but you can get a kit with very similar components from daze or rosehill for $321 shipped, the modern is $498 before shipping. Secondly, the angle the pushrod goes into the master cylinder
concerns me. I worry about seals wearing and leaking overtime.(picture http://www.moderndriveline.com/catalog/hydraulics.
Anyone have experience with this kit?

$200 is a lot of money to spend on basically a lever and some heim joints.

I look at it this way. This car is not my daily driver. Is the angle of the pushrod not 100% correct? Yes. How long will it take for the incorrect angle to wear out the seals in the master? Probably 30k miles or more. Am I ever going to put that many miles on this car in the next 5 years? Probably not. The master cylinder is $70 brand new. Even if it wore out, you could buy 3 new master cylinders for the cost of Modern Performance's $200 lever.

It's actually the moderns 's kit angle I have issues with, but now I'm thinking both kits can't have pushrod remain perfectly parallel based on the sweep of the pedal. I can't justify the added cost of the modern kit either, but would still like to hear testimonials of either option. One thing I do know is a cable clutch is out of the question.
