The block I am using is from a 95.
The pistons are nowhere near a fake forged. They are Hypereutectic cast aluminum. Hyper pistons use a higher silicon amount. For an NA motor they are fine and can / will take a beating. They have a bad wrap because they don't handle detonation as well as forged (see: they can shatter) but your car shouldn't be having detonation issues in the first place.
I have been using hypertechs in the GT with the ProCharger for a while now with no issues. They have tighter piston clearances so blowby can be minimal with them... Again if a power adder is used just make sure the tune is good.

What lol!?
They are Hyperuetectic, like someone had stated. They resist shrinking & warping better than forged, so clearences as stated are tighter. They also are quite a deal lighter then forged, less rotational mass.

You can use it,the only real difference shoud be how the accessories mount up.On a 95 they are tighter to the front of the block.Ive done it before, but i think i had to use all the 95 brackets so the water pump and balancer would line up right.

so i could use a 93 water pump on there??

Just make sure the water passages line up correctly and and all pulleys line up and you should be good.

This... swapping the timing cover will let you use your older front accessories
