I have a SN95 GT convertible automatic...right now its basically stock but i want to upgrade the exhaust, any recommendations? I heard you can't put long tube headers on an automatic. Should i go with X-pipe or H-pipe, I want to get that exotic sound of a 92-95 dodge viper

Do to the fact u have fewer pistons than the viper you'll never get that sound. Thats just the nature of the beast. Thats why those exotics sound exotic. If you had a v10 maybe we could talk. If you want to sound different try some corsa mufflers. Alot of exotics runs those.

do you want more of a raspy tone or a deep growl? An offroad X-pipe will give you more raspiness, while a H-pipe will give you more of a deep throaty sound.

As far as mufflers go, i've always like borla. Its not super loud, but combined with an x-pipe I think my 98 cobra sounds pretty good at WOT.

Some LT'sshould also help give a better tone as well...never had LT's so I cant speak off experience, but from what I've heard LT's definitely make V8's sound better/louder.
