I have gt40 heads on the coupe i just got, while taking the valve covers off i noticed a keepr sitting in the head. The number 8 cylinder has no valve keepers holding the valve in. Does any one know what size locks are the 11/32 10 degree locks? Also how is the valve spring not wanting to jump off with no keepers on it?

if those are stock springs it most likely collapsed gt40p`s have a lower spring rate than stock e7`s so its recommended to use your e7 springs or an oversized spring to keep it from floating or collapsing which is most likely what happened upgrade the springs and give it hell

Springs were upgraded to FMS models.
