i have an 87 ford ranger 2.3, my timing belt went bad so i took apart and the crankshaft pulley wont come out is the one that has double/ piggy back pulley, the bolt is out and the one washer, i bought the pulley puller but that shit just gave me a headache, a mechanic told me to soak it with liquid wrench over night and then try to heat it up with a torch, but that shit wont come out, i was afraid to heat it to much since its my first time trying something like this, i also hit it with the plastic hammer with sand inside and nothing. any other tricks that i could do to get it out?

May try a mix of ATF and acetone, a heat gun, and a dead blow hammer. Some patience will help too!
