My car recently has been having alot of lil problems it wemt through a faze of were I couldmt get it to stop pinging and than 90% of the time when I would put it to the floor as fast as I could it would lose all power come back and lose it and continue jerkin in and out of power untill I let off but everyonce and a while it would rip fine and now all of a sudden I was drivimg down the freeway and smoke just started dumping out of the back I pulled over checked and it seemed to be leaking on the exhaust and than I put a couple quarts in drove it home got it on jacks and started it up and therea oil and lots of smoke coming out of my pasenger side exhaust only and I love my mustang its one of my favorite cars and my only transpertation can anyone please help me out im depressed at this moment and losing hope thank you

Sounds like it had a fuel delivery problem that has now turned into a blown head gasket. Probably ran it lean one too many times.

I would do a compression/leak down test before I started tearing things apart.

+1 compression/ leak down test for sure. Then start checking things like timing, fuel pressure, etc to see why it was runnning like shit in the first place.
