I have an 87 mclaren with the upgraded recaro seat option. The driver side leans a little on the left. Anyone know how to fix it or know of a shop that does?

You have to pull the upholstery out of the way and weld the frame of the seat back together

or get new rails...

Depends on where it is broken at...the upper seat back or the seat rail. Both fixes are pretty simple, make sure the fix is beefed up.

sounds like your floor pans are bending

The floor pan is perfect. It seems to be broken at the point of pivot between the 2 cushions. I don't want to get rid of these seats because they are original recaros that were an upgraded order from Ford in the 87 and 88 mclaren only.

I had the same problem it was broken by the pivot point it needs welding. Gonna be hard to do without slag burning the upholstery

It needs to be reupholstered anyway
