Aside from the difference in rear brake diameter/caliper mounting there is no difference between the GT and Cobra rearend.

Quick way to tell, does it have vented rear rotors ? if yes Cobra .... If not GT

It does,
Does it currently have solid or vented rotors ?
Solid = GT/V6. Vented = Cobra/Mach1/Bullitt

If no brakes are on rear, check top of anti-moan bracket as they may have "COBRA" stamped on it.
If all else fails let me know and I can give you a couple things to measure to give confirmation of which brake setup installed.

It's roughly 3 1/4" from the axle tube to the top of the upper brake caliper bracket.

I have a couple sets of rotors you could use to test.

I see you're in sac... Might be too far a drive.
