this is what im running now:

stock bottom end, e7s, rockers, cam, & fuel system
edelbrock performer u/l intake, bbk cold air, c&l 73mm maf, bbk 70mm tb and spacer,
bbk equal lengths, o/r h-pipe, spintechs
deleted a/c, smog pump,
electric fan, u/d pullies

this is what i plan to add this spring:

rebuilding block hot tanked and magnafluxed, standard bore, 302ci, fresh hone, keith black hyper pistons about 9.8/10-1 comp. with a 64cc chamber,
tfs1 cam, 1.7 rr, afr 165 or 185 heads straight out of box no machine work, edelbrock rpm2 intake port matched to heads, 24 or 30# injectors w/ matching mass air, fpr, 255lph pump

i will be getting the car tuned after also need suggestions on good shops that dont charge an arm and a leg

Also trying to keep the motor smog legal so i can just slap on my stock h-pipe and smog pump every 2 years

any estimates, suggestions,etc?
are afr185s too much?
are 24# inj. too little fuel?

lmk if more info is needed
thanks cafords

injectors fine. 185's if you can do it then do it. power the usual anywhere from 300 to 330. I would go with a different cam.

what would be a better cam for that combo?

spend the extra 50 bucks and get a custom or look up a comp cams. your already spending all this money might as well get a good cam.

try the xe282hr cam from comp cams sounds mean a makes great power way better than any trick flows or ford racing cams out there and go with the 185 cc afr and 30lb injector and get it tuned at AED

I would go with the 185s and probably a more suitable comp or custom cam with 30#s. Your lookin an easy 300-325 or 330. I would honestly save your money on a tune. Timing and fuel pressure are going to be pretty basic to set. You won't see much game with chip and tune. That combo is really gonna rock though
