Ok. So I swapped out the trans and now the car stalls after I drive and come to a stop. I didn't swap the computer. Should I swap it? Or could it be something else?

VSS isn't hooked up right most likely, speed sensor on the speedo cable in the trans.

I had a friend who also did the swap. His was hit or miss if it stalled. His fix was the 5speed PCM.

well, my speedometer isn't working now. Is that a good a sign that the vss is my problem?

not eaxctly; it's a sign that your speedo isnt working. VSS can still be working w/o the speedo.

Did you swap from auto to stick? IF so the idle speeds in the ECU are slightly different, you will need at a min a chip with the idle speed set up or a 5spd ECU.

Wow, I have done 5 speed conversions and still ran the an Automatic Computer and never had a problem, I actually like the automatic computer better, more of an aggressive timing.

I was just on the subject at work with one of the mechanics so I don't know if there's any truth to it but he said when doing a T5 conversion he changes the module on the distributer to a stick one. I don't know if that works but I'd like to know if it does.
